Shenandoah Valley Land

This area in Western Virginia is a prime location for great mountain land. It is surrounded by the hills of the Blue Ridge to the east and the Appalachians to the west. North is the Potomac river and south is bordered by the James River. This all contributes to a lush and fertile valley that is very popular for farming (at least in the olden days) and provides any number of ideal tracts of land. Due to its popularity property here can be quite expensive. This area includes the following counties with land for sale: Botetourt, Bath, Highland, Alleghany, Roanoke, Berkeley, Jefferson, Rockbridge, August, Page, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, and Frederick. The Shenandoah also includes the following cities where land is available: Roanoke, Salem, Covington, Clifton Forge, Lexington, Buena Vista, Waynesboro, Winchester, Staunton, Harrisonburg. Currently, there are many great land deals available in these areas.
